- Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,020 – $2,130
- Location: Geneva, NY 14456 (Seneca Lake / Finger Lakes region)
- Assignment Length: 13 weeks (May 11, 2026 – August 8, 2026)
- Setting: Emergency Department – Level 2 (ED Nurse / Emergency Nursing)
- Shift: Full-time travel RN, variable day/night rotation (3x12 hour shifts per week), every other weekend, holiday rotation, plus 2 on-call shifts per 4-week period
- Employment Type: Travel Nurse / Travel RN – On-Site
Required Qualifications (Emergency Department RN)
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in New York State
- Current BLS, ACLS, PALS, and Stroke Certification (AHA or RQI required)
- Minimum 2 years of acute hospital RN experience
- At least 1 year of Emergency Department RN (ED Nurse) experience
- NIHSS certification preferred
- Strong clinical assessment, communication, and critical thinking skills; experience with ESI triage preferred
Responsibilities – Emergency Nursing / Acute Care RN
- Deliver high-quality, compassionate emergency care to patients and families in the Emergency Department
- Assess, triage, and prioritize patient care needs according to Emergency Severity Index (ESI) standards
- Perform and assist with invasive and non-invasive procedures and therapeutic interventions typical for ED nursing
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams (physicians, advanced practice providers, techs, and support staff) to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Educate patients and families on care plans, procedures, and post-emergency instructions
- Document assessments, interventions, and patient responses accurately and in a timely manner
- Promote a healing environment by addressing physiological, psychosocial, and cultural needs
- Participate in on-call rotation and holiday/weekend coverage as scheduled
