Job Details

• Assignment Length: 13 weeks (May 4, 2026 – August 3, 2026)
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $2,200 – $2,320
• Location: Rock Island, IL 61201 (Quad Cities)
• Setting: Cardiac Stepdown / Progressive Care / Telemetry Unit
• Shift: Nights — 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM (12-hour shifts), 3 shifts per week
• Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
• Floating: May float within same discipline across local campuses (Rock Island, Bettendorf, Moline, Muscatine)
• EMR: EPIC (EPIC experience required)
• Role: Travel Nurse / Cardiac Stepdown RN / Registered Nurse (RN)

Job Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of recent Stepdown/Progressive Care/Telemetry experience
• Active RN license in Illinois or Iowa (must be active at time of submission)
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications (AHA or American Red Cross)
• EPIC EMR experience required
• Valid Driver’s License (required for submission)
• Professional reference from a supervisor/manager within the last 24 months (preferred)
• Completed skills checklist specific to Stepdown/Progressive Care (required)
• First-time travel nurses welcome — supportive orientation provided

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality, compassionate nursing care to cardiac stepdown and progressive care patients
• Continuous cardiac monitoring and telemetry interpretation; recognize and respond to clinical changes promptly
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to develop and implement individualized care plans
• Administer medications, treatments, and interventions as prescribed, following hospital protocols
• Document patient care accurately and timely using EPIC EMR
• Maintain a safe, patient-centered environment for patients and families
• Float to other local campuses within the same discipline as needed
