Job Requirements
- Board Certified in Cardiology
- Minimum of 2 years of cardiology experience
- Active Arizona medical license or eligibility through IMLC LOQ
- ACLS and BLS certifications required
- Experience with Cerner preferred
- Strong interpersonal and relational skills with patients and staff
- Ability to work independently while collaborating with a multidisciplinary healthcare team
- Willingness to complete required credentialing and onboarding promptly
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive general cardiology care for adult patients
- Evaluate, diagnose, and manage cardiovascular conditions in an outpatient and inpatient setting as assigned
- Perform cath-related care for the physician’s own patients when applicable
- Work collaboratively with support staff to ensure efficient patient flow
- Document patient encounters accurately in Cerner
- Communicate clearly with patients, families, and care teams
- Deliver high-quality care aligned with clinical guidelines and best practices
- Maintain professionalism, reliability, and responsiveness throughout the assignment
