Travel RN Job Details

• Job Title: Cardiac Cath Lab Registered Nurse (RN) – Travel Nursing Contract
• Start Date: March 16, 2026
• Contract Duration: 13 weeks (through June 15, 2026) with potential to extend
• Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–5:30 PM
• Shift Duration: 10-hour day shifts
• Hours per Week: 40 guaranteed
• On-Call: Every 3rd weekend and 1 call/late night per week (part of a 4-person call team plus MD)
• Setting: Acute care Cardiac Cath Lab (7 labs)
• Patient Ratio: 1:1 during cases
• Charting System: Epic (One Chart) with Cupid

Job Requirements (Cath Lab RN)

• Experience: Minimum 2 years of Cath Lab RN experience (critical care background such as ICU/ED preferred)
• Facility Experience: Prior experience in a large hospital (Level II or higher preferred)
• License: Active North Dakota RN license or Compact RN license (willingness to obtain ND license as needed)
• Certifications (AHA required): BLS and ACLS
• Clinical Skills: Comfortable administering moderate/conscious sedation and responding to emergent situations using ACLS/BLS
• Preferred Keywords/Experience: Interventional cardiology, hemodynamic monitoring, STEMI response, vascular and structural heart procedures

Responsibilities (Cardiac Cath Lab Nursing)

• Provide comprehensive pre-, intra-, and post-procedure nursing care for Cardiac Cath Lab patients, including STEMI and stroke activations.
• Assist with and support a broad range of interventional procedures such as cardiac cath with intervention, device implants, peripheral vascular cases, structural heart procedures, and stroke interventions.
• Perform and document focused assessments, monitor hemodynamics, and recognize/respond to changes in patient condition.
• Administer and monitor conscious sedation per policy and maintain patient safety throughout procedures.
• Collaborate with physicians and the multidisciplinary healthcare team during scheduled cases and on-call activations.
• Utilize department technology and equipment including GE Mac-Lab, EKOS, balloon pumps, Impella, AngioVac, FFR, and IVUS.
• Maintain accurate documentation in Epic and follow department workflows, including required badge in/out procedures.
