Cath Lab Registered Nurse (RN) – Travel Nursing – Lewes, DE

Cath Lab Registered Nurse (RN) – Travel Assignment in Lewes, DE. 13-week cardiac cath lab travel nursing contract; ACLS and BLS required. Join our acute care cardiac team at a 175-bed, Level 3 Trauma facility in coastal Delaware.

Travel RN Job Details

• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,750 - $2,890
• Location: Lewes, Delaware (Lewes, DE 19958) — Delaware travel nursing job near Rehoboth Beach
• Contract Duration: 13 weeks (April 20, 2026 – July 20, 2026)
• Shift: 10-hour days (06:30 – 17:00)
• Hours: 40 hours per week
• On-Call: Every 4th weekend, 1 weekday/week (17:00–06:30), plus 3–4 short calls/month
• Setting: Acute Care, Cardiac Catheterization Lab — cardiac RN, cath lab RN, cardiac cath lab experience preferred

Cath Lab RN Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license — Delaware or compact state
• Minimum 1 year recent Cath Lab RN or Cardiac RN experience (cath, pacers, ablations, structural and peripheral vascular procedures)
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required; NIHSS certification preferred
• Ability to circulate, assist and provide moderate sedation during procedures
• Experience with device vendors and systems: Boston Scientific, Medtronic
• Familiarity with Cerner and McKesson electronic charting systems (Cerner RX Station experience a plus)
• Strong clinical assessment, critical thinking, and emergency response skills

Cath Lab RN Responsibilities

• Assist and circulate during cardiac catheterizations, pacemaker insertions, ablations, and structural/peripheral procedures
• Provide moderate sedation and monitor patient status throughout procedures
• Respond to procedural and post-procedural emergencies and support resuscitation efforts
• Collaborate with interventional cardiologists, anesthesia, cath lab techs, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation using Cerner and McKesson EHRs
• Participate in on-call rotation and support quality and safety initiatives in the cath lab
