Cath Lab RN (Travel Nurse) – Wilson, NC | Cardiac Cath Lab

Travel Cath Lab RN opportunity in Wilson, NC — 13-week travel nursing assignment. Ideal candidates have 2+ years of recent Cath Lab RN experience, an active RN license, and ACLS certification. Join a collaborative cardiac care team in a modern facility just 45 miles east of Raleigh.

Job Details

• Location: Wilson, NC 27893 (Wilson, North Carolina; near Raleigh/Durham)
• Assignment Type: Travel Nurse – Cardiac Cath Lab
• Duration: 13 weeks (April 1, 2026 – July 1, 2026)
• Shift: Four 10-hour days per week, 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM with a 30-minute lunch
• Weekly Guaranteed Hours: 40
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $2,250 – $2,370
• Setting: Cardiac Cath Lab / Interventional Cardiology
• Orientation: Bi-weekly (upcoming dates: 4/13, 4/27, 5/11)

Job Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of recent Cath Lab RN experience (cardiac catheterization and electrophysiology preferred)
• Active RN license (Compact license holders welcome where applicable)
• ACLS certification required
• Hands-on Cath Lab scrubbing experience and familiarity with PCI and peripheral interventions preferred
• Meditech EHR experience preferred; experience with GE Innova X-ray and Merge Hemo is a plus
• Positive, flexible attitude and strong team collaboration skills
• Must live at least 60 miles from Wilson, NC to qualify as a traveler

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in the Cardiac Cath Lab including pre-, intra-, and post-procedure care
• Assist and scrub for procedures such as PCI, angiography, and peripheral interventions (preferred)
• Monitor and document patient status and procedural data using hospital imaging and hemodynamic systems
• Collaborate with cardiologists, techs, and multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality cardiac care
• Float to Interventional Radiology as needed to support vascular procedures
• Maintain sterile technique and a safe environment in accordance with hospital policies and infection control standards
