Registered Nurse Job Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse license required; compact license must be in hand at submission
- Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience required
- Experience with electronic health record (EHR) charting systems required, including Epic
- BLS certification required
- Strong ambulatory care, family medicine, internal medicine, or urgent care experience preferred
- Ability to support patient intake, clinical documentation, and outpatient nursing workflows
- Must be comfortable working in a collaborative cardiology clinic environment
Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality ambulatory nursing care in an outpatient cardiology clinic setting
- Perform patient assessments, obtain vital signs, and support rooming workflows
- Assist with medication reconciliation, history collection, and patient education
- Support telephone triage, follow-up calls, and refill request coordination
- Perform clinic-based procedures such as dressing changes, specimen collection, and venipuncture/phlebotomy
- Prepare aseptic and sterile procedure trays as needed
- Review symptoms, lab results, and care needs with attention to detail and compassion
- Collaborate with the care team to help ensure smooth, efficient patient flow
