• Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week
• Shift: 8-hour night shifts (11:00 PM – 7:30 AM) – night shift therapist
• Duration: 4 weeks (3/29/2026 – 4/25/2026)

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree required
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience, including pediatric experience
• Experience in behavioral and mental health settings (pediatric/child & adolescent)
• Ability and willingness to work with pediatric patient populations in a psychiatric unit

Key Responsibilities – Pediatric Behavioral Health Therapist

• Establish and maintain therapeutic relationships with assigned pediatric patients in the Child Specialty Unit
• Facilitate a safe, therapeutic environment on the psychiatric unit; implement behavioral health interventions and supportive care
• Provide patient care services ranging from basic to complex, supporting increasing independence with experience and clinical skill
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams (psychiatrists, nurses, social workers, and allied health) to support individualized treatment plans
• Participate in assessments, treatment planning, documentation, and discharge planning using clinical best practices and facility EMR
• Support crisis intervention, de-escalation, and safety planning for children and adolescents as needed
