Job Details

• Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,470 – $1,580
• Location: Hampstead, NH 03841 (Hampstead, New Hampshire)
• Setting: Pediatric Psychiatric Facility (PRTF Unit) — pediatric behavioral health, psychiatric unit
• Contract Duration: 13 weeks (April 27, 2026 – July 25, 2026)
• Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week
• Shift: 2nd shift ONLY; 15:30–23:30; weekends required

Job Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree required
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience, including pediatric experience and child/adolescent mental health or behavioral health experience
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
• CPI (Crisis Prevention Intervention) certification
• Comfortable and experienced working with pediatric patient population in a psychiatric setting

Responsibilities

• Establish therapeutic relationships with assigned pediatric patients (children and adolescents)
• Facilitate and maintain a safe, therapeutic environment within the psychiatric unit
• Provide patient care services ranging from basic to complex, supporting increased independence with experience and skill
• Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team (psychiatrists, nurses, social workers, and other therapists) to support patient progress
• Participate in required weekend shifts and support unit operations during peak times
• Document patient interactions and progress in accordance with facility policies and assist in treatment planning
