Clinic Therapist (Pediatric Mental Health) — Travel Contract — Hampstead, NH

Clinic Therapist — Pediatric Mental Health travel contract in Hampstead, NH (03841). 6-week assignment (April 26, 2026 – June 6, 2026) for an experienced pediatric therapist with BLS and behavioral/mental health certification. Join a Child Specialty Unit delivering pediatric behavioral health and child & adolescent mental health services in scenic southern New Hampshire.

  • Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,470 – $1,580
  • Location: Hampstead, NH (03841) — New Hampshire travel therapy job
  • Setting: Pediatric Psychiatric Facility — Child Specialty Unit (pediatric behavioral health)
  • Contract Duration: 6 weeks (April 26, 2026 – June 6, 2026)
  • Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week
  • Shift: 8 Hour Nights: 8-hour night shifts (23:00 – 07:30); other shifts available (7:00 – 15:30, 15:00 – 23:30)

Job Requirements / Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (behavioral health, psychology, social work, counseling)
  • Minimum 3 years of relevant experience, pediatric experience required (child & adolescent mental health)
  • BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
  • Therapist certification in Behavioral and Mental Health
  • Willingness to work with pediatric patient population and to provide trauma-informed, developmentally appropriate care

Responsibilities

  • Establish therapeutic relationships with assigned pediatric patients and families in a pediatric psychiatric unit
  • Facilitate and maintain a positive, therapeutic environment within the Child Specialty Unit
  • Provide patient care services ranging from basic to complex; support increasing independence and functional skills
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team (psychiatrists, nurses, social workers, educators) to implement and support individualized treatment plans
  • Ensure patient safety, assess risk, and document clinical progress according to facility standards
