Job Requirements

  • Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) certification
  • Active Illinois CRNA license or eligibility to obtain licensure
  • Minimum 1 year of CRNA experience required
  • Experience in a hospital-based anesthesia setting preferred
  • Comfort working within a medical direction or care team model
  • Strong clinical skills across a variety of anesthesia cases
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills

Responsibilities

  • Provide anesthesia care for patients across a variety of surgical services
  • Manage cases including OB, general surgery, trauma, and other specialty procedures
  • Perform pre-anesthesia assessments and develop anesthesia care plans
  • Administer anesthesia and monitor patients throughout procedures
  • Collaborate closely with anesthesiologists, surgeons, nursing staff, and perioperative teams
  • Support safe, high-quality patient care in a fast-paced teaching hospital environment
  • Document patient care accurately and in accordance with facility standards
