Job Requirements
- At least 1 year of CT Technologist experience in a hospital or comparable clinical setting
- Current applicable state licensure and/or certification as required for CT practice in New Jersey
- ARRT certification in Radiography and advanced CT credentials preferred, if applicable
- Strong knowledge of CT imaging protocols, patient positioning, and radiation safety standards
- Ability to work effectively with patients, radiologists, and interdisciplinary healthcare teams
- Excellent communication, organization, and patient care skills
Responsibilities
- Perform CT imaging procedures in accordance with physician orders and departmental protocols
- Prepare patients for imaging exams by explaining procedures and ensuring comfort and safety
- Operate CT equipment accurately and efficiently to obtain high-quality diagnostic images
- Monitor patients during procedures and respond appropriately to patient needs
- Maintain accurate documentation and support timely image transfer and record completion
- Follow infection prevention practices, radiation safety guidelines, and quality assurance standards
- Collaborate with radiology staff and the broader care team to support efficient patient flow and excellent patient outcomes
