Emergency Medicine Physician Requirements
- Board certification in Emergency Medicine or ABEM required
- At least 1 year of emergency medicine experience required
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced emergency department setting
- Strong clinical judgment and the ability to manage acute, urgent, and emergent cases
- Active Texas medical license or eligibility to obtain one preferred
Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality emergency care to patients with a wide range of urgent and acute conditions
- Evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients in the emergency department
- Perform procedures as clinically indicated within the scope of emergency medicine practice
- Stabilize patients and coordinate appropriate follow-up care or admission when needed
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and the care team to support efficient patient flow and excellent clinical outcomes
- Document patient encounters accurately and in a timely manner
