Travel Endoscopy Registered Nurse (RN) – GI Lab Job in Petaluma, California

Job Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- At least 1 year of Endoscopy or GI Lab nursing experience required
- Epic charting experience required
- Current BLS, ACLS, and CGRN certifications required
- Experience with conscious sedation, airway management, pre- and post-procedure care, and IV starts
- Ability to support inpatient and outpatient endoscopy workflows
- Willingness to float as needed within related perioperative areas and nearby facilities
- Strong adaptability, communication, and teamwork skills
Responsibilities
- Provide safe, high-quality nursing care for endoscopy patients throughout the procedural experience
- Assist with conscious sedation monitoring and recovery
- Support procedures such as colonoscopy, EGD, ERCP, EUS, bronchoscopy support, and related GI lab interventions
- Prepare patients for procedures and deliver thorough post-procedure recovery care
- Maintain accurate documentation in Epic
- Collaborate with physicians, anesthesia, and interdisciplinary team members to ensure efficient workflow
- Monitor for changes in patient condition and respond quickly to clinical needs
- Maintain readiness of equipment, supplies, and procedure rooms
- Float to pre-op, phase II PACU, or nearby sister facilities when scheduled and notified in advance
