Experienced Registered Nurse (RN) needed for a travel electrophysiology (EP) lab and ambulatory cardiology assignment in Burbank, California. Job Details
- Position: Travel EP Lab RN
- Setting: Outpatient cardiology and electrophysiology clinic
- Location: Burbank, CA
- Start Date: ASAP
- Duration: 13 weeks
- Shift: Day shift, Monday through Friday, 8-hour shifts (8:30 AM - 5:00 PM)
- Weekly Hours: 40 hours per week
- Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,520 - $2,650
- Charting System: Epic
- Patient Population: Adult cardiac patients
- Schedule Notes: No weekends, no call, and no floating between like units
Job Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- At least 1 year of nursing experience required
- EP lab experience strongly preferred
- Device management experience highly preferred
- Cardiology experience considered if EP experience is not available
- Experience with Epic charting required
- BLS certification required
- Strong clinical judgment and comfort triaging cardiac symptoms
- Ability to support an outpatient clinic environment with adult patients only
Responsibilities
- Support the EP Device Division by reviewing and responding to remote reports and alerts
- Triage urgent patient symptoms and assist with higher-level patient advice requests
- Collaborate with back office team members to deliver efficient, patient-centered care
- Supervise stress tests and support consults and follow-up care
- Assist with ambulatory cardiology workflow in a busy outpatient setting
- Use device readers and related technology to support clinical decision-making
- Provide safe, professional nursing care to adult cardiac patients
