Epic Bridges/Rhapsody Analyst – Community Connect (Brief)
Position Summary
We are seeking an Epic Bridges/Rhapsody Analyst to support our Epic Community Connect initiative. In this role, you will design, build, test, and maintain HL7 interfaces that enable seamless data exchange between the host Epic system and community partner organizations. You will leverage Rhapsody Integration Engine to ensure reliable, secure interoperability across the care continuum.
Key Responsibilities

Design, build, and test Epic Bridges interfaces (ADT, ORM/ORU, SIU, DFT, etc.) using Rhapsody

Support end-to-end integration between the host Epic system and affiliate partners within the Community Connect model

Troubleshoot interface issues, perform root cause analysis, and drive timely resolution

Collaborate with application teams, partner stakeholders, and vendors to translate business requirements into technical integration solutions

Participate in all SDLC phases including design, testing, go-live, and post-live support

Document build decisions, interface specifications, and testing outcomes
Required Qualifications

Epic Bridges Certification (required)

5+ years of Epic implementation experience

Hands-on experience with Rhapsody Integration Engine

Strong knowledge of HL7 2.x standards, MLLP, and healthcare integration protocols

Experience supporting Community Connect environments strongly preferred

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience

Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills
Preferred

Rhapsody Professional Certification

Familiarity with C-CDA, DIRECT, REST/SOAP web services

Experience with additional integration engines (Corepoint, Cloverleaf)
