Job Description

Epic PB Senior Analyst – Remote 

Qualifications – Epic PB Analyst

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent healthcare IT experience)
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in analysis, design, build, testing, and maintenance of Epic EMR or other EMR applications
  • Epic Professional Billing certification (required within 6 weeks of training if not already held)
  • Strong understanding of healthcare workflows, clinical support, and electronic medical record systems
  • Advanced analytical, problem-solving, and project coordination skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Ability to manage multiple healthcare IT projects and competing priorities
  • Adaptability and resilience in a fast-paced healthcare environment
  • Professional integrity and commitment to excellence in healthcare technology

Epic PB Senior Analyst Responsibilities

  • Lead the design, build, testing, validation, and support of Epic Professional Billing and related healthcare applications
  • Drive complex system improvements and strategic healthcare IT initiatives
  • Collaborate with clinical, financial, and operational teams to optimize Epic EMR workflows
  • Serve as a subject matter expert for Epic PB and EMR systems
  • Develop advanced knowledge of Epic system functionality and integration points
  • Engage with department heads and operational teams to identify and prioritize healthcare technology needs
  • Provide advanced technical support and troubleshooting for Epic PB and EMR applications
  • Support Epic software updates, optimizations, upgrades, and implementations
  • Coordinate healthcare IT projects to ensure alignment with clinical and business objectives
  • Advocate for user needs, change management, and develop training/support materials
  • Maintain current Epic certifications and stay updated on healthcare IT advancements
