Overview
We are seeking an experienced Emergency Room Registered Nurse (ER RN) for a 20-week travel nurse assignment in a busy hospital Emergency Department. This role is ideal for a nurse who thrives in high-acuity environments, values teamwork, and is ready to make an immediate impact in a fast-paced emergency nursing setting.

- Estimated Weekly Pay: $1,910 to $2,010
- Orientation: Occurs every other Monday
- Schedule Notes: Every other weekend required; one major holiday required during the assignment

Job Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of emergency department RN experience required
- Experience in a similar-sized ED and trauma level 1 or level 2 setting required
- Active Virginia RN license or compact license required at time of submission
- Current ACLS, BLS, PALS, and TNCC required
- Trauma certification such as ATCN, TNCC, or ATLC required
- CPI certification required before start
- Prior travel nursing experience required
- Prior Cerner experience strongly preferred
- Must be willing to work every other weekend and at least one major holiday
- All requested time off must be submitted with the application packet
Responsibilities
- Deliver rapid, compassionate care to patients with a wide range of emergency and trauma needs
- Perform comprehensive assessments and prioritize care in a high-volume Emergency Department
- Collaborate with physicians and the interdisciplinary clinical team to coordinate timely treatment
- Administer medications, monitor patient status, and respond to changes in condition
- Support safe patient flow through triage, treatment, and discharge processes
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation and follow established emergency care protocols
- Use strong communication and critical-thinking skills to support excellent patient outcomes
