- Estimated Weekly Pay: $2,070 - $2,180

- Setting: Busy emergency department serving a broad patient population
- Patient Volume: Approximately 45,000 annual visits
- Patient Ratio: 4:1 days, nights, and weekends
- Float Requirement: May be asked to float as needed
- Scheduling: Other/rotating coverage as assigned
Job Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of recent Emergency Department RN experience within the last 3 years
- Experience caring for both adult and pediatric emergency patients
- Active Wisconsin RN license or compact RN license
- Current BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC certifications from AHA
- Epic charting experience required
- Ability to pass a telemetry exam prior to start
- Level II trauma experience required; Level I trauma experience preferred
- Travel nursing experience preferred
- Strong communication, adaptability, and teamwork skills
Responsibilities
- Provide skilled emergency nursing care for patients of all ages, including neonates, pediatrics, adults, and geriatrics
- Perform rapid assessments, triage, and stabilization for acute and emergent conditions
- Support care for trauma, stroke, respiratory distress, cardiac events, behavioral health emergencies, and other urgent presentations
- Administer medications, initiate IVs, manage blood products, and monitor patient response
- Assist with advanced emergency interventions such as airway support, procedural sedation monitoring, and dysrhythmia management
- Collaborate with physicians, techs, and interdisciplinary support teams to ensure efficient patient flow
- Document accurately in Epic and maintain safe, timely, evidence-based care
- Serve as a flexible team member who can adapt to changing patient volume and acuity
