Job Details

• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,020 - $2,130
• Location: 43 New Scotland Ave, Albany, NY 12208 (Albany healthcare, Capital Region nursing jobs)
• Assignment Duration: 13 weeks (May 11, 2026 – June 30, 2026)
• Shift: 12 Hour Days (7:00 AM – 7:30 PM)
• Hours per Week: 36
• Employment Type: Travel RN / Travel Nurse
• Dress Code: Navy blue scrubs required
• Electronic Medical Record: Epic EMR (experience required)

Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of New York
• At least 1 year of recent experience in Emergency Room (ER/ED) or Med-Surg nursing
• Epic EMR experience required
• Ability to work 12-hour day shifts and adapt to a fast-paced emergency department
• Professionalism and commitment to high-quality, patient-centered care
• Navy blue scrubs required

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, efficient emergency care to patients in the Emergency Department (ED)
• Perform rapid assessment, triage, and ongoing patient monitoring in an acute care/Med-Surg setting
• Administer medications, IV therapy, and critical interventions as indicated
• Collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers, and interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes
• Accurately document patient care, assessments, treatments, and discharge instructions in Epic EMR
• Respond promptly to emergencies, support critical care transfers, and assist with admissions and discharges
• Maintain a safe, clean, and policy-compliant work environment
