ER RN Job Requirements

• License: Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Clinical Skills: Triage, rapid assessment, prioritization, and patient stabilization in a high-acuity environment
• Professional Skills: Reliable attendance, clear communication, teamwork, and patient-centered care

Key Responsibilities (Emergency Nursing)

• Perform rapid patient assessments, triage, and ongoing reassessments to identify changes in condition
• Provide evidence-based ER nursing care for a wide range of emergent conditions and acuity levels
• Initiate and manage IV therapy, medication administration, and ordered treatments per protocol
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to coordinate timely diagnostics and interventions
• Educate patients and families on discharge instructions, follow-up care, and safety guidance
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation and support quality, compliance, and patient safety standards
