Job Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of recent Emergency Department experience
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Current AHA BLS certification
- ACLS certification required
- PALS certification required
- NIHSS certification required
- Ability to work nights in a fast-paced, high-acuity emergency care environment
Responsibilities
- Provide direct, high-quality nursing care to emergency patients with a variety of acute and emergent conditions
- Perform rapid assessments, prioritize care, and respond effectively to changing patient needs in the ED
- Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary healthcare team members to support timely treatment and intervention
- Administer medications, monitor patient status, and document care accurately and efficiently
- Support safe, compassionate, and patient-centered care throughout the emergency care process
- Maintain readiness to handle emergent situations in a busy Emergency Department setting
