Emergency Room Registered Nurse (RN) Travel Contract – Camden, NJ
We are seeking an experienced Emergency Room Registered Nurse (ER RN) for a 13-week travel nursing contract in Camden, New Jersey. This on-site emergency department opportunity is ideal for a confident RN who thrives in a fast-paced, high-acuity trauma setting and brings strong Level I trauma experience to the bedside. Located in Camden, NJ 08103, this role offers convenient access to the greater Philadelphia metro area, a growing healthcare corridor, waterfront attractions, and a dynamic urban community.
Job Details
- Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,130-$2,250
- Location: Camden, New Jersey
- Setting: Emergency Room / Emergency Department
- Start Date: 7/7/2026
- End Date: 10/3/2026
- Duration: 13-week travel contract
- Schedule: Nights, 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM, every other weekend
- Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week
Emergency Room RN Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of Emergency Room Registered Nurse experience required
- At least 2 years of Level I trauma experience required
- Current NJ-RN license
- Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association
- Current ACLS certification from the American Heart Association
- Current PALS certification
- Current TNCC certification required
- Ability to work night shift and every other weekend
- No holiday time off permitted during the assignment
Emergency Department Responsibilities
- Provide rapid assessment, triage, and nursing care for patients presenting with urgent and emergent conditions
- Deliver high-quality care in a busy emergency department with a strong focus on patient safety, clinical excellence, and teamwork
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare team members to support timely treatment and patient flow
- Monitor patient status, administer medications, and respond effectively to changes in condition
- Care for trauma and critically ill patients using evidence-based emergency nursing practices
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation throughout the course of care
- Support a team-oriented environment while delivering compassionate care to patients and families
