Emergency Department Registered Nurse (ER RN) – Illinois Travel Nursing Contract

Travel Nurse Job Details
- Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,800–$1,890

- Schedule: 36 hours per week
- Shift: 12-hour nights, 6:30 p.m. to 7:00 a.m., with rotating weekends

Emergency Room Registered Nurse Requirements
- At least 1 year of recent Emergency Department registered nursing experience
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Illinois
- Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications
- Strong clinical judgment and the ability to respond quickly and accurately to changes in patient condition
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- ENPC, TNCC, or TNS certification preferred
Emergency Department Nursing Responsibilities
- Provide direct and indirect nursing care to patients in the Emergency Department
- Assess patients, monitor changes in condition, and adjust nursing care as indicated
- Communicate with emergency physicians regarding patient status, symptoms, and diagnostic results
- Coordinate care with specialists and ancillary departments to support efficient patient flow
- Deliver care addressing the physical, psychosocial, and general needs of patients and families
- Provide clear communication and education to patients and their families
- Document care accurately while demonstrating initiative, accountability, and professional nursing practice
