- Contract Duration: 13 weeks (April 27, 2026 – July 27, 2026)
- Shift: 12-hour nights (19:00 – 07:00)
- Hours per Week: 36
- Unit: Emergency Department (ED), 17 beds
- Patient Ratio: 1:4
- Self-scheduling: Available via "When to Work" app
Job Requirements / Qualifications
- 2–3 years of recent Emergency Department RN (ED RN) experience preferred
- Minimum 1 year of travel nursing experience preferred
- Active RN license (state-specific or compact as applicable)
- Required certifications: ACLS, PALS, BLS, NIH Stroke
- Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or higher
- Strong triage, assessment, and critical thinking skills for high-acuity care
- Team-oriented, friendly, hardworking, and adaptable personality
- Comfortable caring for geriatric, adult, and pediatric patients and recognizing changes in patient status
Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality emergency care to geriatric, adult, and pediatric patients in the ED
- Assess, triage, and manage patients presenting with chest pain, abdominal pain, psychiatric emergencies, strokes, and other acute conditions
- Perform emergency interventions and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams (physicians, respiratory therapists, social work) to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Document patient care thoroughly in the ED Paragon EHR system
- Participate in self-scheduling and maintain flexibility with shift assignments
- Adhere to facility dress code (navy blue scrubs, HRMC t-shirts; hoodies not permitted)
