• Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend (Saturday & Sunday)
• Holiday Requirement: Every other holiday
• Charting System: Epic (Epic experience preferred)
• Dress Code: Any color scrubs

Job Requirements / Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Illinois (or proof of application in process) — Illinois RN required for travel nursing
• At least 1 year of recent Emergency Room nursing experience (emergency nursing, triage, trauma care)
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications (AHA required)
• Experience with Epic charting system strongly preferred
• Ability to work every other weekend and holiday as scheduled
• Must pass a comprehensive drug screen (drug-free campus)

Responsibilities — Emergency Nursing & Trauma Care

• Deliver high-quality, compassionate care to patients across all Emergency Severity Index (ESI) levels
• Perform rapid assessments, administer medications, start IVs, and manage trauma and critical care situations typical of a Level II Trauma Center
• Document patient care accurately and efficiently in Epic
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including physicians, mid-levels, charge nurses, and support staff
• Respond to code, rapid response, and trauma activations as needed
• Participate in department orientation, ongoing training, and maintain compliance with hospital policies and procedures
