Job Details – Travel Nursing / Emergency Department (ED)

• Location: Kapaa, Kauai, Hawaii 96746 — local and travel nursing candidates welcome; Kauai healthcare jobs
• Assignment Type: Travel Contract (Travel Nursing)
• Start Date: March 9, 2026 (must be available to start on this date)
• End Date: June 8, 2026
• Duration: 13 weeks, with possibility of extension
• Hours / Shifts: 40 hours per week; variable shifts including AM 7:00–19:00, PM 19:00–7:00, and 8-hour day/evening/night shifts; open to 12-hour shifts/72 hours per two-week period
• Floating: May float to Long Term Care or ICU as needed (cross-coverage opportunities)
• Holiday Coverage: Holiday pay based on hours worked on New Year's Day, Independence Day, Thanksgiving, and Christmas Day

Compensation

• Estimated Weekly Salary: $2500–$2630 per week (based on experience and qualifications)

Job Requirements – Emergency Room Nurse (ER RN)

• Active RN license (state RN license or compact RN license as applicable)
• Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in an Emergency Department (ED/ER)
• Ability to work variable shifts, including days, evenings, nights, and weekends
• Flexibility to float to other departments (Long Term Care or ICU) as needed
• Strong clinical skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced emergency nursing environment
• Excellent communication, teamwork, and patient-centered care abilities

Responsibilities – Emergency Nursing / Clinical Duties

• Provide high-quality, compassionate emergency care to patients across all ages in the Emergency Room
• Assess, triage, and prioritize patient care based on acuity and ED protocols
• Administer medications, treatments, and emergency interventions as prescribed
• Collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers, and interdisciplinary team members
• Document patient care accurately and promptly in the medical record
• Float to Long Term Care or ICU departments as required to support clinical staffing needs
• Maintain a safe, clean work environment while adhering to hospital policies and emergency department procedures
