Job Details
- Location: Flemington, NJ 08822 (Hunterdon County, New Jersey)
- Position Type: 13-week contract – Emergency Department RN / ER nurse (on-site)
- Estimated Weekly Pay: $2,020 - $2,130
- Hours per Week: 36 (hospital nursing job)
- Shifts: Flex shifts: 8:00 AM - 8:30 PM or 12:00 PM - 12:30 AM (based on department need)
- Schedule: Every other weekend (EOW) and every other holiday (EOH) required
- Start Date: June 16, 2026

Job Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of Emergency Department (ED) / emergency room nursing experience required (ER nurse, triage nurse, acute care)
- Active New Jersey RN License (must be in hand at time of application)
- Current BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NIHSS certifications required
- Flu immunization required unless a valid medical exemption is provided
- Professional appearance: any color scrubs acceptable if clean and professional
- Strong clinical assessment, triage, and documentation skills for acute and emergent conditions
Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality, compassionate patient care in the Emergency Department and emergency room setting
- Assess, triage, and monitor patients presenting with a variety of acute, emergent, and urgent care needs
- Collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers, and multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans
- Administer medications, perform ED procedures, and ensure accurate clinical documentation in the electronic health record
- Provide patient and family education on diagnoses, treatment plans, and discharge instructions
- Maintain compliance with hospital policies, patient safety standards, and infection control practices
