Job Requirements
- Previous Emergency Room nursing experience preferred
- Active Pennsylvania RN license or compact nursing license eligibility, if applicable
- Strong clinical assessment, triage, and critical thinking skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a high-acuity, fast-paced emergency care environment
- Excellent communication, teamwork, and patient care skills
Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to patients with urgent and emergent medical conditions in the emergency department
- Perform rapid patient assessments and support triage prioritization
- Administer medications, treatments, and interventions according to provider orders and clinical protocols
- Monitor patient status and respond quickly to changes in condition
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare team members to deliver timely, effective care
- Document patient care accurately and thoroughly in the medical record
- Educate patients and families on treatment plans, discharge instructions, and follow-up care
