- Setting: 14-bed Emergency Department
- Patient Ratios: 1:4-5
- Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend as needed
Job Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- At least 1 year of Emergency Room nursing experience
- BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required
- MEDHOST experience preferred
- Trauma nursing experience preferred
- Ability to work in a flexible, fast-paced emergency care environment
- Strong communication, critical thinking, and teamwork skills
Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality emergency nursing care to patients across all age groups
- Assess, monitor, and prioritize patient needs in a busy Emergency Department
- Administer medications, treatments, and interventions according to established protocols
- Collaborate with physicians and the interdisciplinary care team to support timely, effective patient care
- Operate emergency department equipment and maintain accurate documentation in the electronic health record (EHR)
- Respond quickly and professionally to changing patient conditions and urgent situations
- Support a safe, organized, and patient-centered care environment
