Job Details
- Position: General Diagnostic Radiologist – Locum Tenens
- Setting: Diagnostic radiology coverage for acute care, emergency radiology, and trauma services
- Location: Clinton, MA
- Start Date: January 4, 2027
- Duration: Approximately 25 weeks
- Schedule: Flexible 7- or 8-hour shifts, including day, swing, and night shifts
- Coverage Needs: Evening and night coverage preferred; weekend availability is a plus
- Shift Commitment: Minimum of 7 shifts per month
- Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,570-$1,680
Job Requirements
- Board-certified or board-eligible in Diagnostic Radiology
- At least 1 year of diagnostic radiology experience preferred
- Experience interpreting emergency radiology studies
- Level I trauma radiology experience strongly preferred
- Willingness to work a mix of days, evenings, and nights
- Weekend availability preferred
- Ability to commit to a minimum of 7 shifts per month
- Massachusetts medical license preferred
- Emergency Radiology Fellowship preferred, but not required
Responsibilities
- Interpret a variety of diagnostic radiology studies with accuracy and efficiency
- Provide coverage for emergency imaging and trauma-related cases
- Support multiple reading worklists in a collaborative radiology environment
- Deliver timely reads to support patient care and clinical decision-making
- Use modern PACS and dictation tools to maintain an efficient workflow
- Provide reliable coverage across day, swing, and night shifts as needed
