Home Health RN Job Details
- Location: Albuquerque, New Mexico, with patient visits within approximately a 60-mile radius
- Healthcare Setting: Home health
- Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
- Shift Duration: 8-hour shifts
- Hours: Approximately 40 hours per week, with 36 hours guaranteed
- On-Call: Rotating on-call schedule, including weekends as assigned
- Travel: Mileage between patient visits is reimbursed
- Contract Length: Approximately 10 weeks
- Estimated Weekly Pay: $2,120–$2,230
Registered Nurse Requirements
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license valid for practice in New Mexico
- At least 1 year of registered nursing experience
- Associate degree in nursing or equivalent qualifying nursing education
- Ability to travel throughout the assigned Albuquerque-area service area and participate in the rotating on-call schedule
- Home health nursing experience and familiarity with Homecare Homebase (HCHB) are preferred
Home Health Registered Nurse Responsibilities
- Provide skilled nursing care to patients in their homes
- Assess patients’ health needs and monitor their condition during home health visits
- Deliver and document nursing interventions in accordance with care plans and professional standards
- Educate patients and caregivers about care needs and treatment plans
- Coordinate with the healthcare team to support continuity of care and patient goals
- Complete scheduled visits across the Albuquerque-area coverage zone and fulfill rotating on-call responsibilities
