Job Requirements
- At least 1 year of CNA experience in a hospital or other acute care setting
- Experience supporting behavioral health patients preferred
- Ability to work rotating day and night shifts
- Strong communication, observation, and patient support skills
- Reliable, compassionate, and adaptable approach to patient care
- Ability to work effectively with nurses and other healthcare professionals
Responsibilities
- Provide daily personal care and patient support with professionalism and respect
- Assist with patient observation and sitter coverage as needed
- Support nursing staff with routine patient care tasks in a hospital setting
- Help maintain a safe, calm, and therapeutic environment for patients
- Document and report patient needs, changes, and concerns promptly
- Deliver excellent care while adapting to the needs of a busy acute care unit
