Qualifications / Requirements
- Active LNA or Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in good standing
- Minimum 1 year of experience as a CNA in a hospital or similar healthcare setting (hospital CNA experience preferred)
- Comfortable working evening shifts and every other weekend
- Dependable with reliable transportation to the Saint Albans, VT facility
- Strong communication, teamwork, and patient-centered care skills
Responsibilities / Clinical Duties
- Provide direct patient care and bedside assistance, supporting daily living activities and basic nursing care
- Assist nursing staff with patient monitoring, documentation, and clinical support tasks
- Maintain patient safety, comfort, and dignity at all times
- Support mobility, hygiene, feeding, and activities of daily living as needed
- Keep patient areas clean, organized, and compliant with infection control standards
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and interdisciplinary healthcare team members
