- Population: Adults and geriatrics
- Charting: Meditech
- Weekend Coverage: Required
Job Requirements
- At least 1 year of CNA experience required
- Prior long-term care or skilled nursing experience required
- Comfortable caring for patients with tracheostomies and ventilators
- Current BLS certification required
- Travel experience required
- Valid state license/credential in hand at time of submission
- Ability to work within scope and float to like units as needed
- Ability to provide 2 references covering the required experience period
Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care to adults and geriatric residents in a sub-acute and skilled nursing setting
- Assist with ambulation, transfers, feeding, bathing, dressing, grooming, and hygiene
- Monitor and report changes in patient condition promptly to the clinical team
- Support tracheostomy and ventilator-dependent patients within CNA scope
- Perform routine vital sign collection, skin care, and incontinence care
- Maintain a safe, clean, and comfortable environment for patients
- Use proper body mechanics and safe patient handling techniques
- Collaborate with nurses and the care team to deliver compassionate, high-quality healthcare
