Job Requirements (CNA Qualifications)

• Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification and current listing on state registry (preferred: Oklahoma)
• Minimum of 1 year of bedside clinical experience in a hospital or acute care setting (2 years preferred)
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification, if required by state/facility
• Strong communication, teamwork, and patient-centered skills
• Ability to follow facility policies for safety, appearance, attendance, and punctuality
• Comfortable with common clinical tasks: vital signs, ADLs, safe patient handling, and EHR/charting

Responsibilities (Hospital CNA / Night Shift Duties)

• Provide routine bedside patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse, including assistance with ADLs (bathing, dressing, toileting) and mobility/transfer support
• Monitor and document vital signs, intake/output, and other patient observations in the electronic health record (EHR)
• Communicate patient care needs and changes to the nursing team and multidisciplinary staff
• Promote patient and employee safety by following infection control protocols, safe patient handling, and environmental safety procedures
• Assist with menu management and patient meal delivery: prepare, assemble, and deliver patient menus according to prescribed diets and preferences
• Support patients in completing menu selections, update diet changes, and ensure accurate menu labeling
• Perform clerical Food & Nutrition duties as needed (faxing, answering phones, filing) and assist with trayline, food service, or catering when required
• Attend departmental meetings, in-services, and training to support professional development and compliance
• Other duties as assigned to support patient care, quality outcomes, and facility operations
