Job Details

• Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,930 – $2,080
• Location: Albany, GA 31701 — travel CT technologist job in Albany, Georgia
• Setting: Acute Care Hospital / Radiology Department
• Assignment Duration: 17 weeks (April 27, 2026 – August 24, 2026)
• Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week
• Shift: 12-hour days (Friday: 8:30 AM – 9:00 PM; Saturday/Sunday: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM)
• Equipment: GE 16-slice, GE 6-slice, Philips Ingenuity 264-slice (experience with GE/Philips CT preferred)
• Charting System: MEDITECH

Job Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of experience as a CT Technologist or Computed Tomography (CT) Technologist
• ARRT (CT) certification required
• BLS certification required
• Must meet strict 75-mile radius rule from the address on the traveler's driver's license
• Strong clinical skills with the ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary radiology team

Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality CT scans using GE and Philips equipment following departmental protocols
• Ensure patient safety, comfort, and accurate screening for contraindications before imaging
• Document studies and patient information accurately in MEDITECH and maintain clear electronic records
• Collaborate with radiologists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to optimize patient care
• Maintain CT equipment, adhere to hospital protocols, radiation safety standards, and quality assurance procedures
