CT Technologist Travel Job – Hospital Assignment in Albany, New York
Join a collaborative hospital imaging team as a CT Technologist and Radiologic Technologist in Albany, NY. This 13-week travel assignment offers an experienced CT professional the opportunity to perform diagnostic computed tomography studies for emergency department and inpatient patients while supporting timely diagnosis and excellent patient care. CT Technologist Job Details
- Location: Albany, New York
- Assignment Type: 13-week hospital travel assignment
- Start Date: November 22, 2026
- End Date: February 20, 2027
- Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,240–$2,400
- Schedule: Friday, Saturday, and Sunday; 7:00 a.m.–8:00 p.m.
- Shift Duration: 12-hour day shifts
- Hours: 36 hours per week
- Work Setting: On-site hospital CT department
CT Technologist Job Requirements
- At least 2 years of CT imaging experience preferred
- CT-trained Radiologic Technologist
- ARRT certification or eligibility, as applicable
- Current New York State license with injection authorization
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Proficiency with diagnostic CT imaging workflows, electronic medical records, and PACS
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a high-volume hospital environment
CT Technologist Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic CT examinations for emergency department and inpatient patients
- Operate CT equipment, including Philips 64-slice technology, according to department protocols
- Administer contrast media safely in accordance with approved procedures and scope of practice
- Verify patient identity, assess relevant clinical information, and ensure appropriate exam preparation
- Produce high-quality diagnostic images while prioritizing patient safety, comfort, and privacy
- Document examinations accurately in the electronic medical record and transmit images through PACS
- Collaborate with radiologists, nurses, providers, and other members of the care team
- Maintain a professional, adaptable approach in a fast-paced hospital imaging environment
