Travel Radiology Job Details
- Location: Big Sky, Montana
- Position: Travel CT / Multi-Modality Radiologic Technologist
- Assignment Type: Travel healthcare contract
- Assignment Duration: 13 weeks
- Assignment Dates: October 13, 2026 – January 12, 2027
- Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,340–$2,510
- Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week
- Shift: 12-hour day shifts on a 6-on/8-off rotation
- Call: No call required
- Holiday Coverage: Holidays are worked when they fall on the regularly scheduled rotation
- Travel Requirement: Applicants must reside at least 90 miles from the assignment location
Radiologic Technologist Job Requirements
- At least 2 years of previous radiology experience
- At least 2 years of CT and/or MRI experience
- Graduate of an accredited radiologic technology program or equivalent documented training
- Current Montana Radiologic Technologist licensure
- ARRT advanced certification in both CT and MRI
- Current American Heart Association BLS certification
- Demonstrated competency in radiology, CT, MRI, X-ray, and fluoroscopic procedures
- Strong communication, organizational, and critical-thinking skills
- Ability to work independently in a busy clinical environment and support multiple patient populations
- Ability to meet the physical demands of the role, including standing, walking, bending, reaching, and lifting up to 50 pounds
Travel CT Technologist Responsibilities
- Perform high-quality CT, MRI, X-ray, and fluoroscopic examinations for patients across a variety of care settings, including emergency and critical care areas.
- Operate CT, MRI, and other diagnostic imaging equipment independently while maintaining accuracy, patient safety, and attention to detail.
- Prepare patients for procedures, verify orders and relevant clinical information, and provide clear explanations throughout the examination.
- Produce diagnostic-quality images for interpretation by licensed practitioners.
- Assist medical staff with imaging examinations and procedures as requested and appropriate.
- Complete accurate documentation, exam distribution, billing-related workflows, archiving, and retrieval processes.
- Maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment, professionalism, and sensitivity in all patient interactions.
- Support quality-improvement initiatives and comply with required education, safety, and regulatory standards.
- Share knowledge with and support the training of peers.
