Travel CT Technologist Jobs – 13-Week Hospital Imaging Contract in Boise, Idaho
Join an experienced radiology team as a CT Technologist in Boise, Idaho. This 13-week travel contract offers ARRT-certified CT Techs the opportunity to perform diagnostic and procedural CT studies in an acute-care hospital imaging department supported by on-site radiologists and experienced leadership. Travel CT Technologist Job Details
- Location: Boise, Idaho
- Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,440–$2,620
- Assignment Type: 13-week travel healthcare contract
- Start Date: October 12, 2026
- End Date: January 11, 2027
- Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week
- Shift: 10-hour night shifts, typically 7:00 p.m.–5:00 a.m. Monday through Thursday during the first half of the assignment, transitioning to scheduled Friday–Sunday evening shifts during the second half
- Schedule Notes: Shifts are assigned according to department needs; weekend and holiday coverage may be required
- Department: Computed Tomography (CT) imaging in an acute-care hospital setting
- Equipment: Siemens and Canon CT scanners
- Charting and Imaging Systems: EPIC and McKesson experience preferred
- Dress Code: Blue scrubs provided
CT Technologist Job Requirements
- At least 1 year of experience as a CT Technologist or Computed Tomography Technologist
- ARRT certification in Computed Tomography (CT)
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Experience with Siemens CT equipment preferred; Canon CT experience is a plus but not required
- Strong patient-care, communication, and technical skills
- Procedural CT experience preferred
- Prior travel CT technologist experience preferred but not required
- Ability to start IVs and work effectively in a fast-paced diagnostic imaging department
- Availability for assigned weekend and holiday shifts as needed
CT Technologist Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic CT examinations across all body regions, including pediatric and cardiac studies
- Assist with CT-guided procedures such as biopsies, drain placements, and ablations
- Operate Siemens and Canon CT equipment safely and efficiently while following department protocols
- Complete approximately 3–40 scans or studies during a typical 10-hour shift, depending on daily volume
- Start IVs and administer contrast in accordance with established procedures and patient-safety standards
- Provide compassionate patient care, education, and reassurance throughout each CT examination
- Accurately document examinations and patient information in the electronic medical record
- Collaborate with radiologists, CT technologists, nurses, and other members of the healthcare team
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized hospital imaging environment
- Follow radiation-safety, infection-control, and quality-assurance standards
