Job Requirements
- At least 1 year of CT technologist experience preferred
- ARRT or NMTCB registration in Radiography, Computed Tomography, or Nuclear Medicine
- Applicable state licensure for radiography and/or computed tomography
- Strong knowledge of CT imaging protocols, patient safety, and infection control practices
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced hospital imaging environment
- Excellent communication skills, adaptability, and attention to detail
Responsibilities
- Prepare, set up, and operate CT scanners according to physician orders and department protocols
- Perform detailed head and body CT scans for diagnostic and interventional purposes
- Verify patient identity and confirm the correct exam prior to imaging
- Assist patients on and off the scanner while providing clear, compassionate instructions
- Enter patient information accurately into department systems and ensure records are properly archived
- Adjust scanner and injector settings to safely complete exams with appropriate technical factors
- Label and transmit images accurately to PACS and RIS systems
- Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient work area while following all department and hospital policies
- Support additional duties as needed to meet departmental needs
