- Schedule: Weekend shift, Saturday through Monday

CT Technologist Job Requirements
- Two years of previous CT Technologist experience preferred
- Successful completion of formal radiologic technology training through an approved program
- Current ARRT registration and certification as a CT Technologist
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Demonstrated knowledge of CT, general X-ray, and fluoroscopy procedures
- Ability to administer or assist with oral and intravenous contrast as directed
- Ability to practice sterile technique and follow universal precautions
- Ability to safely move, position, and assist patients and equipment, including lifting requirements with appropriate assistance
- Strong communication skills and the ability to respond to equipment alarms and patient needs
CT Technologist Responsibilities
- Operate CT scanners and related diagnostic imaging equipment to produce high-quality cross-sectional images
- Perform radiographic procedures, including X-ray and fluoroscopy examinations in clinical and operating room settings
- Position and immobilize patients according to examination protocols and individual physical needs
- Review CT and radiographic images for technical quality and obtain additional images when appropriate
- Enter examination parameters and other required technical information into the imaging system
- Monitor patients throughout examinations and promote their safety, comfort, and privacy
- Administer or assist with contrast media as ordered by the referring physician or radiologist
- Assist with special procedures while maintaining sterile technique and universal precautions
- Transport patients based on their mobility and examination needs
- Maintain accurate records and complete required quality-control activities for the CT area
- Clean examination rooms and restock linens and supplies after each procedure
