CT Technologist Job Requirements
- Current CT Technologist certification or equivalent credential required
- At least 1 year of experience working as a CT Technologist in a hospital or comparable medical imaging setting
- Ability to perform diagnostic CT imaging procedures safely and accurately
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to patient-centered care
- Ability to work 10-hour overnight shifts, rotating weekends, and holidays as scheduled
- Strong communication, collaboration, and healthcare teamwork skills
CT Technologist Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic computed tomography examinations according to established protocols and patient safety standards
- Verify patient information, explain CT procedures, and promote patient comfort throughout each exam
- Prepare and position patients appropriately for CT imaging studies
- Operate CT equipment and evaluate images for technical quality
- Follow radiation safety practices and applicable hospital policies and procedures
- Maintain accurate imaging documentation and communicate relevant findings or concerns to the care team
- Collaborate with radiologists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to support efficient patient flow
