Required Qualifications

• Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT); ARRT-CT or CT certification required
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
• Minimum 3 years of post-school experience in medical imaging or radiology (CT experience preferred)
• Experience operating Philips imaging equipment / Philips CT scanners
• Ability to participate in on-call rotation and work in a fast-paced hospital environment

CT Technologist Responsibilities

• Prepare and educate patients for diagnostic CT procedures, ensuring patient comfort and safety
• Position patients and operate CT equipment to capture high-quality diagnostic images
• Perform diagnostic radiographic/fluoroscopic C-arm exams in department and with portable equipment as needed
• Administer IV contrast media per protocol and monitor patients post-injection
• Perform image reconstructions, follow printing protocols, and assist with PACS/image archiving workflows
• Complete documentation, requisitions, and required paperwork in a timely and accurate manner
• Troubleshoot and identify equipment and imaging quality issues; escalate to service teams when appropriate
• Transport patients, maintain supply inventory, and ensure equipment is stocked and ready for use
• Collaborate with radiologists, nursing staff, and floor teams to ensure excellent patient care and efficient workflow
• Attend required in-services, orientations, and departmental meetings
• Demonstrate professionalism, courtesy, and patient-centered care at all times
• Perform other duties as assigned consistent with the CT technologist role
