CT Technologist Job Details

CT Technologist Job Requirements

  • Current CT Technologist certification or license eligible for verification
  • At least 1 year of professional CT imaging or computed tomography experience
  • Strong knowledge of CT scan procedures, patient positioning, contrast-related protocols, and diagnostic image quality standards
  • Ability to work an evening schedule Monday through Friday
  • Commitment to patient safety, radiation safety, privacy, and professional healthcare standards
  • Successful completion of required facility onboarding and credential verification

CT Imaging Technologist Responsibilities

  • Perform diagnostic CT examinations according to established imaging protocols
  • Prepare patients for CT procedures, explain examinations, and provide compassionate support throughout the imaging process
  • Accurately position patients and operate CT equipment to obtain high-quality diagnostic images
  • Review CT images for technical quality and communicate with radiologists and the care team regarding any concerns
  • Follow radiation safety practices, infection prevention standards, and departmental procedures
  • Maintain accurate patient documentation and support efficient workflow within the hospital CT department
  • Collaborate with radiologists, nurses, physicians, and other members of the hospital healthcare team
