Travel CT Technologist – Philadelphia, PA (13-week Contract)

Travel CT Technologist – Philadelphia, PA | 13-week contract. ARRT (CT) & BLS required. Day shifts (3x12); float across Bucks, Torresdale & Frankford campuses. First-time travelers welcome!

  • Contract Length: 13 weeks

  • Estimated Weekly Pay: $2,240 - $2,400 (Travel CT pay)
  • Hours per Week: 36
  • Shift Duration: 12 Hour Days
  • Shift: Day shifts, 3x12-hour (09:30 - 22:00); includes 2 weekdays, Saturday (8a-8p), and Sunday (7p-7a); every other weekend required
  • On Call: Optional
  • Floating: Required between Bucks, Torresdale, and Frankford campuses
  • Charting System: EPIC (electronic medical record)
  • Scrub Color: Caribbean blue

Job Requirements (CT Technologist Qualifications)

  • Minimum 1 year of clinical CT technologist experience in a hospital or outpatient radiology setting
  • Current ARRT (CT) certification required (Computed Tomography)
  • Current BLS certification required
  • Experience with GE CT scanners preferred; familiarity with Medrad injectors and Phillips Isite PACS a plus
  • Proven ability to start peripheral IVs and safely administer contrast media
  • Experience using EPIC for charting preferred
  • Must be able to float between multiple hospital campuses and work every other weekend and one holiday during the contract
  • PA fingerprints and Childline clearance required prior to start
  • Flu vaccine required (medical/religious exemptions accepted)

Responsibilities (CT Tech Duties)

  • Perform a wide range of CT imaging procedures, including trauma CT, neuro CT, cardiac CT, vascular CT, and musculoskeletal CT studies
  • Prepare, mix, and administer IV contrast safely; monitor patients for adverse reactions
  • Start peripheral IVs and maintain patient safety and comfort throughout procedures
  • Operate and troubleshoot GE CT scanners and related radiology equipment
  • Document exams and clinical notes accurately in EPIC and PACS systems
  • Collaborate with radiologists, nurses, and interdisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality patient care in the hospital setting
  • Float between Bucks, Torresdale, and Frankford campuses as assigned and adapt to different clinical environments
  • Adhere to hospital protocols, radiation safety standards, and infection control policies
