CT Technologist Job Details
- Location: Weatherford, Texas, near the Dallas–Fort Worth area
- Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,030–$2,190
- Assignment Length: 13 weeks
- Start Date: August 17, 2026
- End Date: November 16, 2026
- Shift: 10-hour night shifts, Monday through Thursday; 9:00 p.m.–7:30 a.m., including a 30-minute lunch
- Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week
- Call: Call requirements may apply
- Charting and Imaging Systems: Meditech, GE PACS, and Meditech RIS
CT Technologist Job Requirements
- At least 2 years of CT Technologist experience in a hospital or clinical imaging setting
- ARRT certification in Computed Tomography (CT)
- Current Texas radiologic technologist license required
- Current BLS certification required
- GE CT scanner experience required
- Experience with a GE 32-slice Revolution EVO or comparable CT scanner preferred
- Ability to perform CT imaging and required diagnostic X-ray procedures
- Professional communication skills and a strong commitment to patient safety and diagnostic imaging quality
CT Technologist Responsibilities
- Perform CT examinations in accordance with established protocols and radiology department standards
- Complete required X-ray procedures associated with CT services
- Prepare patients for CT and diagnostic imaging procedures, verify orders, and confirm patient identification and exam details
- Operate CT scanners, portable imaging equipment, and related radiology technology safely and effectively
- Review images for technical quality and communicate any concerns to the appropriate clinical team
- Document procedures and patient information accurately in Meditech and related imaging systems
- Follow radiation safety, infection prevention, and hospital policies
- Adapt to departmental needs, including floating as needed
