- Duration: 16 weeks
- Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,920 – $2,060
- Hours per Week: 40
- Shift Schedule: 4 shifts/week — 2 weekday 8-hour shifts (8:00am – 4:30pm) and 2 weekend 12-hour shifts (7:00am – 7:00pm)
- Call: Up to 2 days per month
- Orientation: 16 hours
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a CT Technologist (CT Tech) in hospital or diagnostic imaging settings
- Siemens CT scanner experience required
- Current ARRT (CT) certification required
- Active Florida Radiologic Technologist license required (must be in hand)
- American Heart Association BLS certification required (must be in hand)
- COVID-19 and Flu vaccines required (medical/religious exemptions considered)
- Must be nicotine-free (facility policy)
- Ability to pass EKG and Pharm tests during orientation (2 attempts maximum)
- Two professional references from direct supervisors or managers
Key Responsibilities
- Perform high-quality CT scans for adult acute care and outpatient populations (diagnostic imaging)
- Operate Siemens CT equipment safely and efficiently, following manufacturer and facility protocols
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient care in the hospital radiology department
- Maintain accurate patient records and adhere to hospital policies, quality and safety standards
- Participate in scheduled on-call rotation as required
- Complete required pre-start and annual training modules and competency assessments
