Echo Technologist (Cardiac Sonographer) – Travel Assignment in Great Falls, Montana

Echo Technologist Job Details
- Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,030–$2,190
- Location: Great Falls, Montana
- Assignment Type: 13-week travel Echo Technologist assignment
- Assignment Dates: October 5, 2026–January 4, 2027
- Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m., with a 1-hour lunch
- Shift Duration: 8-hour day shifts
- Weekend Schedule: Saturdays and Sundays off, except when scheduled for call
- Call: Approximately every third week, with holiday rotation; call participation may require a minimum of 10 days per month
- Healthcare Setting: On-site hospital and clinical diagnostic imaging environment
Echo Technologist Job Requirements
- At least 1 year of experience as an Echo Technologist, Echocardiography Technologist, or Cardiac Sonographer
- Diagnostic imaging certification or documented qualification in echocardiography
- Experience performing adult transthoracic echocardiograms
- Experience with stress echocardiograms and dobutamine stress echocardiograms
- Ability to assist with transesophageal echocardiography procedures
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to provide accurate preliminary diagnostic information
- Willingness to participate in a rotating call and holiday schedule
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with cardiologists, providers, and imaging leadership
Echo Technologist Responsibilities
- Perform adult transthoracic echocardiograms in accordance with established clinical practices and procedures
- Conduct stress echocardiograms and dobutamine stress echocardiograms
- Assist with transesophageal echocardiography examinations
- Provide preliminary diagnostic evaluation and promptly communicate examination results or concerns to cardiologists
- Consult with cardiologists regarding non-standard examinations and determine appropriate technical factors to meet study requirements
- Maintain accurate, high-quality cardiac imaging studies and support efficient patient care throughout the examination process
- Participate in the scheduled call rotation, including applicable holiday coverage
