Overview

This 26-week travel healthcare job is ideal for an adaptable Echo Technologist, Cardiac Sonographer, or Ultrasound Technologist with multispecialty imaging experience. You’ll support a broad patient population, perform a variety of diagnostic studies, and contribute to excellent patient care across multiple service lines.

  • Weekend Coverage: Required on-call coverage

Job Requirements

  • At least 1 year of experience in ultrasound, echocardiography, or diagnostic medical sonography
  • Prior experience in general ultrasound and cardiac sonography
  • Experience with fetal ultrasound, OB, breast, transvaginal, and vascular imaging
  • Adult echo, contrast echo, and echo stress treadmill experience required
  • Current BLS certification
  • ARDMS, ARDMS VT, CCI, or RDCS certification required
  • Experience with Epic preferred
  • Ability to work in a multispecialty hospital environment and adapt to changing priorities
  • Willingness to participate in on-call coverage and weekend rotations

Responsibilities

  • Perform high-quality diagnostic ultrasound and echocardiography exams across multiple patient populations
  • Complete general, fetal, OB, breast, transvaginal, vascular, and cardiac imaging studies
  • Support adult echo, contrast echo, and echo stress treadmill procedures
  • Maintain accurate documentation in Epic and follow established imaging protocols
  • Collaborate with physicians, radiologists, and care teams to deliver timely, compassionate patient care
  • Assist with precepting and supporting clinicians as needed
  • Remain flexible and dependable for on-call responsibilities and weekend coverage
  • Provide safe, patient-centered service in a fast-paced hospital setting
